Our offerings for younger musicians include theory and ear training courses, along with Performance Hour and the option of Vocal Ensemble. Children who are approved by the Ensemble Director to work in an ensemble also have that option.
For serious young musicians, our Pre-College Division offers a certificate program for music studies and performance.

- Intro. to Composing/Scoring for Film (advanced composers).
Performance experience is key for the growth of all musicians. In addition to our weekly Performance Workshop, we offer students the opportunity to perform in our monthly recital series: Academy Young Artists.
A Typical Day in the Pre-College Division- 4-5 hours. This is a 2 year program:
Students starting out in the Pre-College Division are encouraged to enroll in our core curriculum, which includes music theory, ear training, chamber music ensemble, and performance class. Some students also take composition classes. For students who have fulfilled the prerequisites (or who can test out of them), we offer a series of electives, including conducting, sonata literature, advanced composition.
ACADEMY WEEKEND HOURS: 1PM TO 6PM.
